WorldWideArbitration.com
This
site is dedicated, in the original spirit of the internet, to the dissemination
of interesting texts on the law and practice of arbitration and/or arbitrators
which should be the common property of all.
The first text is from William Sheppard's 'A Grand
Abridgment of the Common and Statute Law of England', published in 1675. It is the first digest of
the English law to be written in English.
We offer extracts from the
section of the book headed Arbitrators
and Arbitrement in the form of scanned images accompanied by a transcription
of the text.
The second text on arbitration is taken from 'Commentaries
on the Laws of England' by Sir William Blackstone (1765-1769).
